Prohibits counties, cities, towns, and villages from establishing or mandating minimum wage or living wage requirements for private employers beyond federal or state law

Bars political subdivisions from requiring employers to provide employment benefits exceeding state or federal requirements, including health insurance, retirement, paid time off, sick leave, and vacation

Prevents local governments from enacting "ban the box" laws that would prohibit employers from asking about criminal history on initial job applications

Applies to private employers only; public employers as defined in section 285.525 are excluded from coverage

Adds new section 285.055 to Chapter 285 of Missouri Revised Statutes governing employee-employer relations
