Counties containing school districts designated as unaccredited or provisionally accredited by the state board of education must devote 10% of annual community children's services fund revenues to a grant program delivering services directly to those schools.

School board presidents must notify the county board of directors within 5 business days after receiving an unaccredited or provisionally accredited designation.

The board must conduct a needs assessment for affected school districts within 90 days of notification, which will guide comprehensive mental health wraparound services delivery.

A direct school service coordinating committee must be established, consisting of 3 board members plus 2 appointees from each affected school district (one parent and one school services staff member).

The coordinating committee provides recommendations and oversight for the contracted mental health services program in unaccredited or provisionally accredited districts.
