More than 123,000 people are currently waiting for organ donations, with 7,500 dying each year and an average of 21 people dying daily while on the waiting list

Approximately 30,000 people receive life-saving organ transplants annually, and organs from a single deceased donor can benefit more than 50 people

Living donors can donate kidneys and portions of liver, lung, pancreas, or intestine to help family, friends, or anonymous recipients

Encourages Missouri residents to participate in activities that increase awareness of organ donation and the need for donors
