Members of the Missouri General Assembly and their employees would be authorized to request and receive confidential information about applicants and licensees from professional licensing boards under the Division of Professional Registration

Currently confidential records including educational transcripts, test scores, complaints, and investigatory reports can only be disclosed with written consent, during litigation, through lawful requests, or to law enforcement agencies

The bill amends Section 324.001 RSMo by adding legislators to the list of parties who may access otherwise protected licensee information without the individual's consent

Information that remains non-confidential (publicly available) includes licensee names, addresses, registration status, and license currency
