Total virtual nonresident student enrollment statewide is capped at 1.75% of all public and charter school students enrolled in Missouri

Missouri higher education institutions with approved teacher education programs may sponsor virtual charter schools, which must offer instruction exclusively through virtual/online methods

Siblings of already-enrolled students receive enrollment preference, and enrolled students may remain in the virtual school through all grade levels offered or until withdrawal
