Public institutions of higher education in Missouri cannot deny religious student groups any benefits available to other student groups based on the religious group's requirement that leaders or members adhere to its religious beliefs or standards of conduct

Protected benefits include official recognition, registration, use of campus facilities for meetings or speaking, access to communication channels, and funding sources available to other student groups

Applies to all colleges and universities established under Missouri statutes chapters 172, 174, 175, and specified sections of chapter 178
