Licensed retail liquor stores may sell 32 to 128 fluid ounces of draft beer in containers filled on-premises for off-premises consumption, commonly known as "growler" sales.

Employees filling containers must be at least 21 years old and must seal each container with a one-time-use tamper-proof seal before sale.

Wholesalers, distributors, and manufacturers are prohibited from furnishing dispensing equipment, cooling equipment, or containers to retailers for growler fills.

Required labels must include brand name, brewer name, product class, net contents, retailer name/address, fill date, and a warning that the product may be unfiltered/unpasteurized and must be kept refrigerated.

Containers may only be filled on customer demand (no pre-filling allowed) and must follow specific sanitation protocols using food-grade sanitizer, bottom-to-top filling tubes, and FDA compliance standards.
