Persons licensed or certified under section 376.1753 as midwives providing prenatal, delivery, and postpartum services shall be deemed licensed as midwives under chapter 334

Requires the board to promulgate rules and regulations within 180 days of August 28, 2015, establishing procedures, qualifications, and standards for midwife licensure and the practice of midwifery

Persons holding current ministerial or tocological certification from an organization accredited by the National Organization for Competency Assurance (NOCA) may provide services as defined in federal Medicaid law (42 U.S.C. 1396 r-6(b)(4)(E)(ii)(I))

All rules created under this authority must comply with chapter 536 (Administrative Procedure Act) and are subject to general assembly review
