Expands existing insurance co-payment protections to include occupational therapists licensed under chapter 324, in addition to physical therapists already covered under the law

Prohibits health carriers from charging higher co-payments or coinsurance for occupational therapy or physical therapy services (requiring a prescription) than they charge for primary care physician office visits

Requires health carriers to clearly disclose the availability of both physical therapy and occupational therapy coverage, including all limitations, conditions, and exclusions

Mandates an actuarial analysis by September 1, 2016 (updated from 2013) to assess cost impacts of the occupational therapy coverage provisions on health carriers, insureds, and public/private payers

Requires the oversight division to submit actuarial findings to legislative leadership and relevant committee chairs by December 31, 2016, with a waiver if fiscal note costs are less than the analysis cost
