Establishes removal procedures for law enforcement officers employed by political subdivisions who are not already covered under sections 43.150 or 57.275

Requires governing bodies to provide written notice at least 10 business days before a removal hearing, including specific charges, statement of facts, and meeting details

Guarantees officers the right to a hearing before the governing body with witnesses, evidence, and legal counsel of their choosing

Defines "just cause" for removal as: inability to perform duties due to mental condition or substance abuse, reckless disregard for safety, misrepresentation of facts, self-dealing, felony violations, or insubordination/policy violations (except when reporting legal violations)

Removed officers must receive written notice of removal grounds within 14 calendar days and forfeit all compensation and benefits not already earned or accrued
