Converts the existing nonvoting student representative position on the University of Missouri Board of Curators to a voting student curator position, making the ninth member of the nine-member board a student with full voting rights

Student curator may vote on hiring or firing of the UM system president, campus chancellors, general counsel, board secretary, and other general officers, but is excluded from voting on hiring or firing of faculty or staff

First student curator to be appointed in January 2017, must be a graduate or professional student, and serves a two-year term while maintaining full-time student status

Student curator is selected from a panel of three names submitted by student government presidents of UM campuses, appointed by the governor with senate confirmation, and must be a Missouri resident and U.S. citizen

Appointments rotate among the four UM campuses (Columbia, Rolla, Kansas City, St. Louis), with any future campuses added to the rotation
