Prohibits business owners from restricting individuals from lawfully possessing firearms in their personal motor vehicles on business property (does not apply to company-owned or leased vehicles)

Eliminates business liability for third-party criminal acts unless the business knew criminal acts were imminent or similar crimes occurred on the premises within the prior 24 months

Places the burden of proof on injured persons to demonstrate that a business's breach of duty caused or contributed to injuries from criminal or intentional acts

Bars remedial security measures taken after criminal incidents from being used as evidence of prior negligence in lawsuits against businesses

Exempts hotels, motels, and apartment complexes from the definition of "business" under this act
