Prohibits school bus stops for public and private schools (grades K-12) from being placed within 500 feet of the residence of a registered sexual offender under section 589.400

Applies to all students attending public schools as defined in section 160.011 or private schools offering instruction through twelfth grade

Creates an exception when schools cannot find an alternative bus stop location due to safety reasons

Requires schools using the safety exception to notify parents of students using that bus stop that a sexual offender resides within 500 feet

Adds new section 566.146 to Chapter 566 of Missouri Revised Statutes
