Removes county sheriffs from the list of employees excluded from the county employees' retirement system, making them eligible for coverage under sections 50.1000 to 50.1300

Eliminates the previous requirement that county sheriffs be covered under a separate retirement system (sections 57.949 to 57.997)

Applies to all Missouri counties except any city not within a county (St. Louis City) and first classification counties with charter forms of government

Amends section 50.1000, RSMo, which defines key terms for the county employees' retirement system established August 28, 1994
