Establishes the STEM Career Awareness Pilot Program through the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education to increase STEM career awareness among students in grades 6-12, subject to appropriation

Requires selection of 25 secondary schools for participation beginning in the 2017-18 school year, using an online-based curriculum covering more than 80 different STEM careers and technologies

Mandates the online program include game-based elements, automated leaderboards, self-paced Internet access, narrative sound tracks, and automatic analytic reports for student performance tracking

Creates the STEM Career Awareness Pilot Program Fund in the state treasury as a dedicated fund for program administration, with unexpended moneys not reverting to general revenue at biennium end

Program terminates August 28, 2022, with a required report to the general assembly by December 31, 2022 on results and benefits experienced by participating schools
