Requires applicants to complete firearms safety training, pass FBI fingerprint-based background checks and National Instant Criminal Background Check System inquiries, and meet eligibility criteria including no felony convictions, no dishonorable military discharge, and no mental health commitments within five years

Prohibits state agencies from disclosing concealed carry permit holder lists to the federal government, with permit holder information designated as closed records and protected personal information

Permits are suspended if the holder moves out of state or receives a full order of protection, and revoked upon conviction for disqualifying offenses; sheriffs must conduct background checks every five years on permit holders

Concealed carry remains prohibited in specific locations including courthouses, schools, polling places, jails, airports, hospitals, bars, churches (without consent), and private property with posted signage prohibiting firearms
