Increases business and commerce representation on the Career and Technical Education Advisory Council from one individual to four individuals

Reduces appointed member terms from five years to three years and limits members to no more than two terms

Decreases required annual meetings from four times to two times per year

Changes ex officio nonvoting members to be employees of the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education selected by the commissioner, replacing previous designations including a guidance counselor director, workforce development director, and coordinating board member

Removes requirements for annual written reports to the state board of education regarding CTE budget administration and recommendations on handling funds for student CTE organizations
