Prohibits private schools, public school districts, charter schools, and public or private postsecondary institutions from allowing students to compete in athletics competitions designated for the biological sex opposite to what is stated on their birth certificate entered at or near birth

Permits female students to compete in male-designated athletics competitions if no corresponding female competition is offered or available

Removes the August 28, 2027 expiration date from the existing law, making the restrictions permanent

Schools violating the prohibition lose all state aid under chapters 163 and 173, as well as any other state revenues

Parents, guardians, or students over 18 who are deprived of athletic opportunities due to violations may sue for injunctive relief and recovery of attorney's fees and costs
