Missouri National Guard members called to active state duty for more than 30 consecutive days would receive all rights and protections under the federal Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA), which typically only applies to federal active duty

Missouri employees serving in another state's National Guard would also qualify for SCRA protections when called to that state's active duty for more than 30 consecutive days

National Guard members and covered out-of-state Guard employees may file suit in court if they believe their rights under this section have been violated

The Attorney General is authorized to bring suit against employers who violate these provisions

Existing reemployment rights under Title 38 U.S. Code for state military forces and reserve component members remain in effect
