Amends Section 542.525, RSMo to restrict government placement of surveillance or game cameras on private property to only two circumstances: written consent from the landowner/designee or a valid search warrant

Eliminates the existing exception that allowed law enforcement chiefs to authorize camera placement without landowner consent or a warrant when targeting publicly accessible locations within 100 feet

Applies to all employees of state agencies and political subdivisions of Missouri

Strengthens private property protections by removing administrative approval as an alternative to constitutional warrant requirements
