Prohibits selling or marketing products using the term "wood" unless the product's decorative surface is made of solid wood or wood veneer originating from a tree

Bans advertising products using wood species names (oak, maple, cherry, pine, walnut, etc.) if the decorative surface is not actually that wood species

Products already in Missouri as of August 28, 2026 that violate these requirements may still be sold if clearly labeled "This product is not made from wood"

No new products with non-compliant packaging may enter the state after August 28, 2026

Grants the Department of Agriculture authority to promulgate rules for administration of the new section
