Repeals and replaces sections 537.760 and 537.765 of Missouri Revised Statutes governing products liability claims

Establishes two categories of product defects: manufacturing defects (where the product departs from its intended design) and design defects (where foreseeable risks could have been significantly reduced through a reasonable, economically and technologically feasible alternative design)

Expands the definition of "fault" to include negligence in all degrees, assumption of risk, strict liability, breach of warranty, and product misuse, modification, or abuse—replacing the previous narrower list of six specific fault categories

Changes defendant liability from joint to several only, making each defendant liable solely for damages proportional to their individual percentage of fault

Requires the trier of fact to assess fault percentages for all persons or entities that contributed to the harm, including those not named as parties to the lawsuit
