Local election authorities are authorized to publish images of voted ballots and cast vote records (CVRs) on their websites

Cast vote records are defined as electronic records of voter ballot selections created by electronic voting devices, ballot marking devices, ballot-counting scanners, or similar equipment

All personally identifiable information must be redacted from ballot images and CVRs before publication

Ballot images and CVRs may be retained following the same retention requirements that apply to other election records under section 115.493
