School districts and charter schools must implement wearable panic alert systems beginning in the 2027-28 school year, subject to appropriations, with the system known as "Alyssa's Law"

Each school employee must receive a wearable panic alert device that enables communication within the building and immediate contact with emergency response agencies, with room and floor-level location accuracy

Emergency notifications must include automated visual strobes, intercom/PA system connections, and computer display takeover messages that correspond to emergency protocols

Schools must provide emergency response mapping to local law enforcement at no cost, including floor plans, room labels, utility locations, and emergency equipment locations (AEDs, trauma kits, naloxone)

Creates the "Panic Alert System Fund" in the state treasury to administer the program, and exempts school security information from public records disclosure under Chapter 610
