Adds three new class three election offenses: threatening or harassing election officials, challengers, watchers, or their family members (including stalking under section 565.227); attempting to induce or pressure election officials or their families to violate election law; and disseminating personal information (home address, phone numbers, SSN, financial account numbers, etc.) of election workers or their families for harassment or intimidation purposes.

Class three election offenses are misdemeanors punishable by up to one year imprisonment, a fine up to $2,500, or both.

Violations resulting in death or bodily injury to an election official or their family member are elevated to a class B felony.

"Election official" is defined to include county election authorities, election judges, and other volunteers or employees of election authorities.
