Stores with multiple points of sale at one location are exempt if at least one register accepts cash

Cash-to-prepaid-card kiosks are permitted if they charge no fees, require no more than $1 minimum deposit, provide receipts, and the cards have no expiration or transaction limits

Violations constitute a class D misdemeanor punishable by fines up to $500 per transaction or attempted transaction
