Applies to anyone who damages or opens property barriers belonging to others without giving six months' written notice to adjacent landowners of cultivated lands

Removes outdated exemptions related to fences across watercourses used for floating logs, railroad crossties, and piling for lumbering purposes

Eliminates provisions that previously addressed liability for logging operations on waterways and exceptions for fences erected to obstruct log passage
