Amends Missouri statutes to add a formal definition of "abortion" to Section 1.020 (general statutory definitions) and modifies the existing definition in Section 188.015 (abortion chapter)

Explicitly excludes from the definition of abortion: procedures to save the life or health of the unborn child, removal of a dead unborn child from miscarriage, removal of ectopic pregnancies, and pre-viability separation procedures necessary to save the pregnant woman's life or prevent substantial/irreversible physical impairment

Defines "pre-viability separation procedure" as removal of an unborn child before the stage when there is reasonable likelihood of sustained survival outside the womb, based on physician judgment and available medical technology

Establishes definitions for related terms including "ectopic pregnancy" (unborn child outside uterine cavity), "miscarriage" (spontaneous death before 20 weeks gestation), and "stillbirth" (spontaneous death between 20 weeks and birth)
