Creates new offense of "tampering with an elected county official" when someone disseminates personal information about the official or their family through any means, including the internet, with intent to harass, intimidate, or influence the official's duties

Base offense is classified as a Class A misdemeanor

Offense elevates to a Class B felony if the violation results in death or bodily injury to the elected county official or a family member

"Personal information" is defined to include: home address, Social Security number, federal tax identification number, checking or savings account number, marital status, and identity of children under 18
