Expands Missouri school district suicide awareness policies to include protocols for helping students at risk of self-harm by July 1, 2027

Requires school personnel to report students at possible risk of suicide or who mention self-harm to a designated staff member, who must immediately notify parents/guardians and perform a risk assessment

Students cannot be released from school until parents/guardians are notified, and notification must be repeated until parents confirm awareness of their child's risk status

Grants civil liability and employment discipline immunity to teachers, counselors, principals, administrators, and other school personnel for actions taken under these reporting protocols

Amends existing Section 170.048, RSMo, introduced by Representative Williams during the 103rd General Assembly Second Regular Session
