Pharmacists with medication therapeutic plan authority may provide treatment services for influenza, group A streptococcus, and COVID-19 under rules established jointly by the Board of Pharmacy and State Board of Registration for the Healing Arts, replacing the previous requirement for a statewide standing order from the Department of Health and Senior Services

Authorizes pharmacists to prescribe FDA Class I and Class II medical devices that serve a medical purpose, are not useful without illness or injury, and are appropriate for home use

Requires the Board of Pharmacy and State Board of Registration for the Healing Arts to jointly promulgate rules for medical device prescribing within six months of the act's effective date

Rules adopted under this act are subject to General Assembly review and Chapter 536 requirements; any rules proposed or adopted after August 28, 2026 become void if rulemaking authority is held unconstitutional
