Establishes a full-time dementia services coordinator position within the Division of Senior and Disability Services in the Department of Health and Senior Services

Coordinator will evaluate and improve coordination of dementia services statewide, using dementia-related data to enhance public health outcomes and service delivery

Position responsible for building relationships with agencies, providers, and organizations to meet needs of affected populations and prevent duplication of services

Coordinator must support dementia-specific staff training across state agencies including law enforcement, identify grant opportunities, and apply for funding to expand services

Duties include promoting public and professional awareness of dementia, collecting and monitoring data on dementia's impact in Missouri, and streamlining government services across residential, home-based, and community-based settings
