Proposes a constitutional amendment to be placed on the November 2026 ballot or a special election called by the governor

Beginning January 1, 2032, extends term limits from 8 years to 12 years maximum service in any single house of the General Assembly

Increases the combined service limit in both houses from 16 years to 20 years total beginning January 1, 2032

Caps Speaker of the House service at 4 years and President Pro Tempore of the Senate service at 6 years, effective January 1, 2032

Retains existing exclusions for service prior to December 3, 1992, and partial terms (less than 1 year for House members or 2 years for Senate members)
