The Division of Workers' Compensation must establish by rule a fee schedule for all medical services provided under workers' compensation, replacing the current "fair and reasonable" and "usual and customary" fee standards

Health care providers are prohibited from charging fees greater than those allowed under the division's fee schedule for treatment of work-related injuries

Physicians appointed by the commission or division to conduct impartial medical examinations will have their fees subject to the new fee schedule rather than the previous "fair and reasonable" standard

Employees retain the right to select their own physician at their own expense, and employers retain the right to select the treating provider for covered treatment

Violation of disclosure requirements when referring patients to facilities in which a provider has financial interest remains a class A misdemeanor
