All school board elections moved from April municipal election day to the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November of even-numbered years, beginning in 2027

School board member terms changed from three years to four years for members elected in 2027 and thereafter

All proposals for new taxes, fees, licenses, or renewals/increases of existing ones must be submitted to voters on general election day after August 28, 2026

Bond elections restricted to the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November of even-numbered years, eliminating the February bond election option

Current school board members whose terms expire in odd-numbered years will continue serving until their successor is elected at the next November general election
