Prohibits state departments, divisions, and political subdivisions from expending funds on "diversity, equity, and inclusion" or "diversity, inclusion, and belonging" programs, staffing, or initiatives

Bans initiatives that promote preferential treatment based on race, color, religion, sex, gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, national origin, or ancestry; the concept that group disparities result solely from oppression; collective guilt ideologies; or intersectional/divisive identity activism

State and political subdivisions cannot mandate, require, or incentivize private sector employers to implement DEI programs as a condition of receiving state contracts

State licensing oversight bodies cannot require DEI training or participation in DEI initiatives as a condition of receiving a professional license, certificate, registration, permit, or accreditation

Exempts compliance with federal and state employment laws, antidiscrimination laws, and the Americans with Disabilities Act from the bill's restrictions
