Creates a full-time dementia services coordinator position within the Division of Senior and Disability Services in the Department of Health and Senior Services

Coordinator must evaluate and improve coordination of dementia services statewide, including using data to improve public health outcomes and service delivery for persons with Alzheimer's disease or related dementia

Requires establishing relationships with agencies, providers, and organizations to meet needs of affected populations and prevent duplication of services

Coordinator responsible for supporting dementia-specific staff training across state agencies including law enforcement, identifying grant opportunities, and promoting public and professional awareness of dementia

Position must collect and monitor data on dementia's impact in Missouri and recommend strategies to improve coordination between public and private entities
