Motocross facility operators are shielded from liability for participant injuries or deaths resulting from inherent risks, including weather conditions, operator error, animal attacks, and injuries aggravated by remote locations

Liability protection does not apply when operators intentionally injure participants, act negligently, provide unsafe equipment, or fail to exercise ordinary care

Facility operators must post warning signs with black letters (minimum one inch height) on white background in visible locations where motocross activities occur

Applies to fee-based motocross facilities operating on natural or man-made terrain for recreational two-wheel motorized vehicle use

Does not affect employer-employee relationships under workers' compensation law or claims occurring prior to August 28, 2026
