Applications not responded to within 30 days are automatically deemed approved, authorizing the applicant to proceed with construction

Denials must be in writing with specific reasons, including citations to violated code provisions or detailed explanations for rejecting work stamped by certified design professionals

Applications denied as incomplete must include written reasons, and applicants receive 10 calendar days to resubmit with the requested information

Political subdivisions cannot add new denial reasons on resubmitted applications that were not specified in the original denial
