Prohibits the manufacture, import, possession, purchase, sale, or transfer of assault weapons and large capacity magazines (over 10 rounds) in Missouri

Defines "assault weapon" to include semiautomatic rifles with detachable magazines and features like pistol grips, folding stocks, or barrel shrouds; semiautomatic pistols and rifles with fixed magazines over 10 rounds; and semiautomatic shotguns with certain features

Exempts government officers, military members, peace officers acting in official capacity, and licensed manufacturers/dealers selling to those entities

Grandfathers individuals who legally possessed assault weapons or large capacity magazines prior to the effective date

Violations constitute a class C felony
