Repeals and replaces Missouri's existing Second Amendment Preservation Act (sections 1.410-1.485) with a simplified version (sections 1.411-1.484)

Prohibits state and local public officers from knowingly violating a law-abiding citizen's legal rights regarding firearms, firearm accessories, or ammunition

Requires law enforcement agencies to investigate employees who knowingly deprive citizens of Second Amendment rights, with potential discipline up to termination

Defines "law-abiding citizen" as a person 18 or older, not under arrest or investigation with valid probable cause, not a danger to self or others, not precluded from possessing firearms under state law, and legally present in the U.S. and Missouri

Removes the $50,000 civil penalty per occurrence from prior law and eliminates provisions declaring specific federal gun regulations invalid within Missouri, while preserving cooperation between state and federal law enforcement on criminal investigations
