Adds athletic trainers to the definition of "provider" in Missouri insurance law, allowing them to receive direct payment from insurers when patients assign their benefits

Includes athletic trainers in the definition of "practitioner" for health carrier credentialing purposes, enabling them to apply for membership in insurance networks

Requires insurers to pay claims within 30 days of receiving all necessary documentation when benefits are assigned to providers

Entities not currently subject to payment provisions under section 376.383 will have until January 1, 2026 to comply with those requirements
