Creates the "Food is Medicine Act" requiring the Department of Social Services to apply for a Section 1115 demonstration waiver from the federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services

Establishes a "Food is Medicine" program through MO HealthNet to provide nutrition supports for participants with nutrition-related chronic diseases

Covered nutrition services may include case management, nutrition counseling, meals or pantry stocking, nutrition prescriptions, and grocery provisions

Requires the MO HealthNet division to prioritize community-based organizations and local growers when feasible for purchasing locally grown food in nutrition prescriptions
