All watercraft certification fees collected on or after August 28, 2026, will be deposited into the Water Patrol Division Fund for exclusive use by the Water Patrol Division

Eliminates the current requirement that the first $1 million in annual watercraft fees go to the state general revenue fund

Removes the outdated provision (pre-July 2019) that directed the first $2 million annually to general revenue with only excess amounts going to the Water Patrol Division Fund

Maintains existing fee structure: $25 for vessels under 16 feet, $55 for 16-26 feet, $100 for 26-40 feet, and $150 for vessels 40 feet and over
