Property owners or their contractors may enter adjoining property up to 10 feet from the property boundary to construct, maintain, or repair division fences for animal enclosures without being guilty of trespass

Owners and contractors are liable for all damages caused by entry onto adjoining property, including crop damage

No liability for clearing trees, brush, or vegetation directly on the property boundary line where the fence is being built

Exemptions apply when adjoining property is owned by utility companies, railroads, or accredited zoological parks, wildlife conservation facilities, or animal sanctuaries

Entry into buildings on adjoining property is prohibited under these provisions
