Transportation network companies (TNCs) are shielded from vicarious liability for harm to persons or property arising from motor vehicle use while a driver is logged on to the digital network

Liability protection applies to claims based on the TNC owning, operating, or maintaining the digital network, or being affiliated with a TNC driver

Protection requires the TNC to have no negligence under sections 387.400 to 387.440 and no criminal wrongdoing under federal or Missouri criminal code

TNC must have fulfilled all obligations under sections 387.400 to 387.440 with respect to the driver to qualify for liability protection

Adds new section 387.435 to Chapter 387, RSMo (Missouri's existing TNC regulatory framework)
