Missouri would join the Interstate Dental and Dental Hygiene Licensure Compact, allowing dentists and dental hygienists with unrestricted licenses in member states to obtain expedited "Compact License Privileges" to practice in other member states

The Compact becomes active once 5 states join and creates an Interstate Commission with 2 voting commissioners from each member state's dental board to oversee administration, rulemaking, and enforcement

Eligible applicants must have graduated from CODA-approved programs, passed ADEX or regional board examinations, have no criminal convictions (excluding traffic offenses), no history of disciplinary actions, and no active investigations

Active-duty military members and their spouses are exempt from Compact fees for up to 1 year after separation from service and receive expedited licensure processing

Member states retain authority to take adverse actions against Compact License Privilege holders, and disciplinary actions in one state automatically apply to the licensee's privileges in all other member states
