Petitions for subdivision exclusion must include a statement from a rural, volunteer, or subscription fire department, volunteer fire protection association, or municipality confirming they will provide fire protection services if the exclusion is approved

Requires public notice of subdivision exclusion petitions to include the names of petitioners, property description, and the name of the entity that will provide alternative fire protection services

Aggrieved persons may appeal board decisions on exclusion petitions to circuit court within 30 days for a trial de novo

Exempts properties excluded through the new subdivision petition process from continued tax liability for pre-existing district indebtedness, unlike individually excluded properties which remain subject to such taxes
