Stop-payment orders on bank accounts would remain effective indefinitely until canceled by an authorized person, eliminating the current six-month expiration period

Oral stop-payment orders still lapse after 14 calendar days if not confirmed in writing

Removes the provision allowing customers to renew stop-payment orders for additional six-month periods, as renewal would no longer be necessary

Amends Section 400.4-403, RSMo, of Missouri's Uniform Commercial Code governing bank-customer relationships
