Prohibits tier III sex offenders who are parents, legal guardians, or custodians from being present on school property or in school conveyances when minors are present, with no exception for obtaining permission from school officials

Maintains existing restrictions barring convicted sex offenders from being within 500 feet of schools, school property, or school transportation when minors under 18 are present

Allows parents/guardians convicted of lesser sex offenses (non-tier III) to obtain permission from superintendents, school boards, or private school principals to attend school events, including permission for multiple events at once

Grants victims under age 19 the right to appear by video during depositions, discovery proceedings, or any court hearing in lieu of personal appearance

Classifies violation of school proximity restrictions as a class A misdemeanor, regardless of the offender's knowledge of their proximity to school property
